The good life is putting energy into hard work. The better life is working so hard that you don't feel silly listening to honky tonk while washing the dishes anymore. Or buying a six pack for the weekend. Or having the same adventurous desert dream every night! Or sittin down to order 3 LPs, one where Justin Townes Earle looks so handsome I could just die. Through bad speakers he also sounds like Willie Nelson did thirty years ago. It's nice to sense exhaustion rather than the sense of impending doom that I usually carry through the day.
